Hygrade Lamp Company announces new National Sales Manager Hygrade Lamp Co. is extremely pleased to announce Bill Nanke as its new National Sales Manager. Bill has worked along side the Siegal family for 25 years, starting with their first company, Marvel where he began his career in the lighting industry. Not long after Marvel was sold and Supreme Lighting was created, Bill came over and assisted Gary Siegal in his efforts of making a name for the new company. Supreme, which had long been primarily selling Lighting Distributors, began to flourish as a secondary lamp supplier through Electrical Distribution and Bill was a key factor in developing the Manufacturer/Rep relationships which were needed to become successful in that market. After the sale of Supreme to SLi, Bill was extended an opportunity by TCP, which is where he has been for the past 3 years continuing his success in the capacity of Regional Manager. In less than three years, Hygrade has hired 20 Manufacture’s Reps and placed inventory in 8 warehouses across the US, from Charlotte to Portland. They have recently printed a new product catalog, which illustrates product line expansions that have more than doubled their item list in the past 18 months. Bill’s experience with Reps and Distributors will be called upon to strengthen the Rep Network as he will be placing Reps in every market where Hygrade is not currently active. In addition, he will bring his extensive knowledge of the CFL market into the company and will insure that we properly prepare Hygrade for the transition from certain incandescent lamps into our future with Compact Fluorescents. Hygrade Lamp Company is a new company with a distinguished heritage in the light bulb business. The company is owned and operated by Gary Siegal and Chris Siegal, whose roots in the industry go back almost 100 years. Hygrade was established as continuation of their dedication to the lighting industry, which includes their former companies, Marvel Lamp Co. and Supreme Lighting.
